On October 24th, the day before the event, a preview of the Jogan-in International Art Festival 2025 was held, and NHK, as well as various newspapers and online media companies, came to cover the event.
A preview for members of the press was held on Friday, October 24th, ahead of the Jogan-in International Art Festival 2025, which is scheduled to begin on Saturday, October 25th, 2025.
On the day, the organizers explained the purpose of the event and this year's theme, " Freedom ," and the exhibiting artists introduced their works at the venue. While covering the works, reporters and photographers were seen listening to the artists' intentions and the background behind their creations.
NHK and several other newspapers and online news sites attended the preview to cover the event, showcasing the new appeal of the art festival, which combines contemporary art with the historic temple space.
The Jogon-in International Art Festival was also broadcast on NHK's evening news program " Oumi-hatsu 630 " on the same day. The program featured art exhibits set up in the majestic space of Jogon-in Temple, as well as explanations by artists.
