From contemporary art exhibitions to international art festivals

"AT ARTS" and Jogon-in Temple have not simply exhibited the works of overseas artists, but have also engaged in full-scale international exchange through the "Jogon-in Artist in Residence" program, which allows artists to actually live at the temple while creating and exhibiting their works.

During the exhibition period, we have also continued to hold artistic and cultural events that go beyond the scope of an art exhibition in terms of quality and quantity, such as concerts, plays, dance, butoh, talk events, tea ceremonies, and calligraphy classes.

Therefore, we have changed the name to reflect these realities and make it easier to communicate our activities.

The fusion of contemporary art and traditional temples remains the core of the event's appeal.

We hope to continue our activities this year in a way that is even more meaningful to many people.
