"Free Art from Around the World" featured in Asahi Shimbun

The Asahi Shimbun newspaper featured a prominent article on the Jogonin International Art Festival, currently being held at Jogonin Temple in Omihachiman. The article described the unique charm of the harmony between the historic temple space associated with Nobunaga and contemporary art works by 41 artists from Japan and abroad. Participating artists from around the world, including Japan, the United States, and Spain, created works based on the theme of "freedom" using a variety of media, including video, installations, and paintings. The article described how the artworks create a new landscape that resonates with the temple's tranquility and architectural beauty.

The space itself becomes art, an experience only available to visitors. Please come and enjoy the world of the art festival, where history and the present resonate with each other.
