Artist in Residence program begins

This fall, artists from overseas came to Jogon-in Temple! The first to arrive were

• Lluís Estopiñan (Spain)

• Luc Queralt & Anna Salas (Spain)

• Katarzyna Podgórska-Glonti (Poland)

There are four of us. (The other participant will join us at a later date.)

As soon as we arrived, we exchanged greetings with the parishioners and temple staff. At first, we had to confirm the spelling and pronunciation of names, but this was also a fun moment that can only be experienced through international exchange.

With a mixture of excitement and a little bewilderment, the autumn art season has finally begun at Jogon-in Temple. Please look forward to seeing what kind of works and exchanges will be born!
