⬤ Message

Born in Osaka Prefecture, currently residing in Shiga Prefecture. Artist/Educator. Starting with concrete tangible elements such as place, material, and documentation, he creates site-specific installations that deal with invisible phenomena and layers of time.

In this work, a "place of dedication" inspired by the Pure Land of Paradise is established in the space where the memorial tablets of Jogonin Temple are enshrined. The entire space, composed of plants and light, is considered a single floral offering, a tribute from us who live in the present to the ancestors who once lived on this land.

The aim is for the exhibition space to become a small ritualistic area that quietly connects the present and the past, where visitors can pause, reflect on the people who once lived here, and offer a prayer.
