Osamu Ishibashi is an artist who, after teaching art at a public junior high school in Osaka, established an atelier in Kawachinagano City and continues to create art there. With the motto "If it's not interesting, it's not art," he creates objects that can be experienced with all five senses, using sound and onomatopoeia as clues. This will be his third exhibition at Jogonin Temple since 2024.

⬤ Message
2024 "Water Basin (Ceiling) Pet Bottle Dragon" 2025 "Bell Tower (Earthen Floor and Upper Floor) Fragments of Memory" And! 2026 "Bell Tower (Welcome to Gion (Onomatopoeia))" This will be the third year (third time) of exhibitions. It is also the culmination of what we have been working on for about 10 years with the motto "If it's not interesting, it's not art!"
My hope is that art can breathe life into, take root, and be built up through the five senses (sight, hearing, touch, taste, and smell) in our daily lives—slowly but surely.
